Hobby Master Diecast Model Tanks and Planes: Tiger, King Tiger, M1A1Hobby Master WWII Die-cast Model Series Tank, Bomber, M1A1, King Tiger, Tiger I German 9月6日 Hobby Master 1/48 King Tiger Review HG0106, HG0107, HG0108From the Hobby Master's Ground Power Series is this German King Tiger with a Henschel turret of sSSPzAbt 501 in the Battle of Bulge, Ardennes, 1944 (HG0106).
The King Tiger, the most formidable Heavy Tank of Germany, made its debut on the WWII in 1944. The first 50 tanks produced had Porsche turrets. Subsequent tanks were equipped with the Henschel turret. Weighed 69.8 tons, it was armed with a 71-caliber 88mm main gun that had enough power to penetrate 150mm thick armor from 2000 meters away. Its hitting power was unmatched in WWII. For protection, the chassis front armor was 100mm-150mm thick with 80mm thick rear and side armor. Other Details:

About 200 early production Tiger were produced from November 1942 to June 1943. Distinctive features of early production Tiger I tanks included large cylinder shaped cupola with smoke discharger and pistol ports on turret.
Although not large in size (scale: 1/56), this diecast model tank is rich in features. It has a rubber tracks, individual moving wheels, and most importantly to collectors, a very well authentically detailed body. The body is painted in camouflage colors with proper highlights, weathering, cables, tools and insignia. The turret can turn and and the main gun can elevate. This elaborated model reflects every detail of the Tiger tank in the history, hence it is the target of collectors worldwide. Other Details:
Historical Background: The tank depicted by this model was numbered as 8, belonging to sPzKP Meyer 'Strotch'. In January 21, 1944, 502/511 of sPzKP Meyer were surrounded in the Leningrad area. 11 out of the 12 Tigers were lost. Lieutenant Meyer suicided. From the HobbyMaster's Tech Power Seriesis this M1A1HA Abrams main battle tank, which proved itself more than worthy during the Gulf Conflict. The M1 Abrams, officially commissioned by the US military in 1980, was designed totally different from previous post-WWII US military tanks. Though fitted with the same 105mm cannon as the M60, the M1 was powered by a gas turbine engine and was fitted with spaced armour. In 1984, the M1A1 was developed with a 120mm smoothbore cannon, and a further variant the M1A1HA (HA stands for Heavy Armor) was later developed featuring depleted uranium armour. The M1A1HA model had a protection equivalent to 600 mm against kinetic energy ammunition, and 1,300 mm against chemical energy warheads.

Tank: Contains two micro motors, two tracks can be controlled separately. Can easily perform movement like running forwards/backwards, turning and climbing a slope.
Historical Background: This model depicts the 1 st Platoon, D Company, Task Force Tarawa. It was deployed for the IRAQI Freedom Action in 2003. The insignia of this tank can be seen from the hull of the turret.
